You’ve tried everything you can think of, but your relationship feels completely stuck.
Whether it’s about money, parenting, in-laws, sex, or even unloading the dishwasher, the arguments in your relationship always end the same way. You’ve listened to all the podcasts, done all the googling, asked your friends and family, even sought advice from AI, and yet nothing seems to make a change.
Working with a couples therapist is a different kind of experience. Being in a shared space with your partner(s) and a therapist can help you look at things in a new way, explore the root of your issues, and take concrete steps that are different from your past patterns.
Couples and Relationship Therapy can help you:
Identify the conflict cycle that is keeping you stuck
Reconnect with your partner(s) on a deeper emotional level
Identify and improve sexual dynamics that are interfering with your relationship
Improve communication with your partner(s)
Learn to identify your needs in relationships and ask for them to be met
Process your struggles in a queer, poly, and kink affirming space
How I support my couples.
I help my couples identify the style of conflict they are engaging in that is repeating itself and keeping them stuck. From there, we explore the deeper layer of emotional pain and unmet needs that is likely exacerbating this cycle.
Along the way, I help my couples learn to self-soothe and co-regulate during conflict, reconnect sexually with partner(s), and improve their own self-understanding as it pertains to what’s happening in the relationship.
For couples work, I draw from Internal Family Systems, Emotion Focused Couples Therapy, Interpersonal Process, and Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy.
My practice is queer, poly, and kink affirming. All of your identities are welcome here!
